Mix Bi-Carb Soda and cooking oil in a 1:1 ratio to create a natural scrubbing paste. After cleaning with the sponge, rinse once with hot water and finish with your regular dish soap with water.
Care for Your Corn Sponge
To sanitize, soak the sponge for 5 minutes in a diluted vinegar water, rinse thoroughly, and dry in a well-ventilated area. Because it’s made from natural materials, avoid boiling water - high heat may cause shrinkage.
